207: In the Beginning with Alias

This week we had the pleasure of welcoming Anticon’s Alias to the program. This visit was overdue and with it Alias brought a wealth of knowledge and history to the show. We were prepared to get as much information as possible and asked El Shupacabra to sit in with us to help pick the brain of one of the earliest known Maine MC & producers. The Appleton Radio library goes back to about 1996 but with Alias coming on the show we are able to get a view of the days before that. We also get a good glimpse into Alias’s musical journey: Northern Exposure, 45 Below, Anticon, Deep Puddle Dynamics, Tarsier, and the list goes on and on like a Trails song.
