This week we welcomed JJ King on the program for the first time. If you are familiar with the 207 hip hop scene then you are no doubt familiar with Lab Seven, a group that JJ King has been a part of for years. This week the focus was on JJ King’s solo material as he was on the show to promote his appearance at Rap Night. Unfortunately we JJ wasn’t able to share any new recorded tracks with us so if you missed Rap Night you will have to wait until October when he has his CD release party to check it out. We did get into some old Lab Seven tracks but the best part was just being able to chat it up with another local veteran and get JJ “on the record” here at Appleton Radio. In standard Appleton form the studio was filled with a few other notables, Dynamo-P, Ill by Instinct, & Jay Humble. Enjoy the podcast below and check us out next week, same Appleton time, and same Appleton channel!
