Welcome to our second live show of the summer! You know there had to be a good reason to get us back “on the air” and this time it was both Eyenine & Shane Reis dropping new CD’s that caught our attention so we asked them both to come on the program. In typical Appleton fashion we start out the show playing some brand new material along with some new local artist submissions. Then we speak with our guests. Eyenine’s project, Dissembler, features production exclusively by El Shupacabra and we were happy that he was also in the building for the show. Ill by Instinct was also in the studio and eventually is able to sneak in a word or two about the project between us playing tracks from it. Once Eyenine and the crew clear out we get it in with Shane Reis who has just released his first solo LP, The Reis & Shine. We speak with Shane about the project and played a few tracks from it. Because we are late posting the podcast we’re happy to report that Shane hit #1 on the local CD charts his first week out, nice job! Download or stream the podcast below and look for Appleton to be returning on a regular basis in September!
